Red Spots

Red Spots (Campbell De Morgan Spots)

Although totally harmless, many people who suffer with Red Spots (sometimes known as Campbell de Morgan spots or blood spots) choose to undergo cosmetic treatment to have them removed.

The bright red or purple colour of the spots results from the clustering of very small capillaries at the skin’s surface dilating.

The condition is not painful, although sometimes the spots can bleed when scratched or bruised.

Red Spots can be removed from the body using the Veinwave thermocoagulation technology. Veinwave treatment can effectively remove the red spots by coagulating the blood in the small vessels, causing them to collapse and disappear. The treatment itself can be slightly uncomfortable but is tolerable, with minimal after effects like some swelling in the surrounding area.

Before the treatment can take place, a consultation with Mr Coady will be needed.
